A smartphone or laptop with a camera and microphone, a stable internet connection and a quiet place for the length of the session. Some studies allow cameras to stay off. This is always explained in the invitation.
Is this a job?
No. Research participation is occasional and you choose which studies to take part in. It is not employment. You are thanked with an agreed payment for each completed study.
