There are 3 types of action management plans that can be accomplished using the ‘research matrix’ tool:
- Automated Action Plans
- Self-initiated Actions: Appeals
- Ad-hoc Action Plans
Our Action Plan management tool helps us analyze real-time data and provide customized action plans to clients as per their requirements. Working with an action plan ensures all tasks are completed and all requirements are met to the expected standards of a project. We develop action plans in collaboration with our clients wherein together we can identify any critical paths and dependencies. However, a developed action plan is not set in stone and can be adjusted as the environment changes.
Key steps of our Action Plan tool include:
- Defining the project goal:
Get clear on what you want to achieve with your project. Define where you currently are and where you want to be at the end of the project. If you have alternative methods to achieve your goal, assess your situation and decide the best chances of success depending on your resources.
Once the goals are set, list the tasks and activities that must be completed in order to achieve the goal. Order them sequentially by adding key dates and deadlines.
Prioritize critical tasks and set realistic deadlines
The next step involves assigning tasks and allocating enough time for the task to be completed in an efficient manner.
At the end of each project, performance is assessed and steps are taken to improve action planning and project execution. If the project is conducted with a large team, feedback is collected and improvement suggestions from team members is collected for better future performance.
